I was inspired by the beautiful array of colors for this week's Inspiration Challenge. Thank you Steph for hosting!
I made the background piece using artist quality watercolors blotched onto very wet watercolor paper, and then sprinkled with salt. You let the salt dry completely, then brush it off and you're left with this cool textured look.
The main images are colored with Tombow pens and water. They spread just like watercolors and I love them for fast and easy coloring.
My sewing machine is still on the fritz, and I wanted to add sewing, so I hand stitched the cotton twine using a paper drill for the holes and a darning needle.
