For todayÂ’s Inspiration Challenge, IC135 - Mackintosh Enamels. Loved the look of the enamels in the samples and had to try my hand at the challenge. I used a piece of matte digital imaging paper for this project. I inked the leaves first in Snow Cap pigment ink, pounced with Peeled Paint, and stamped the image. It was embossed with UTEE. I then stamped the white flowers in Snow Cap pigment ink and embossed them. The dragonfly and butterfly were both inked in Snow Cap, rock and rolled in Dried Marigold, stamped and embossed. Using daubers, I began to apply different colors of green ink to the background, wiping away the excess with a rag. Once I had the desired effect, the image and mats were cut out using circle Nestabilities. The background paper was cut to size and the extra scraps were used for the extra layers. The edges of all paper were sponged with Vintage Photo and the edges of the two smaller panels were distressed.
