I decided to try the Crackle Paint I bought some time ago and never opened. I began with a scrap of Chocolate Chip cardstock and just painted it. It reminded me of a piece of leather after it dried, so I distressed it, tore it and curled it and then the image of a horse came to mind. This is the result of that experiment - a perfect card for my BIL who trained horses all his life. I think I will be getting more crackle paint in various colors!

Absolutely wonderful card! I love the crackle paint effect, it really does look like leather. Nice touch that you did the photo corner too and the string in the eyelets. It's all perfect for that great horse image.

Wow this looked so real, I wondered how you managed to punch a hole in a piece of wood! LOL Very pretty card. You seem to have mastered this technique. Great job.
