I enjoyed making my last quilted baby card so much that I cased myself (with a bit of adaptation for a different size/shape). The quilted effect is done with scored lines with a small shape stamped in the centre of each quilt piece.
I made a little tag with the new baby's initial to personalise the card - it's cut from lightweight chipboard with the smallest of the dies from the Nestabilities Class Circle (Large) set and I used the Making Memories slot punch to punch the curved part of the hole, then just joined up along the base of that punched slot with a ruler and blade.
Supplies: Journaling set (Clear Art Stamps by Crafty Secrets), Classic Little Alphabet stamps, Tim Holtz Distress ink (Antique Linen), Adirondack ink (Stonewashed), Versafine Vintage Sepia, Prismacolor pencils/OMS/stump, Nestabilities Classic Circle, Making Memories slot punch, silk ribbon, scoring board, sponge, sewing machine and thread
