This image was from a swap with Allee's. I started coloring it when we were keeping vigil over my palliative MIL and put it together with the WT challenge to use rick rack in mind, but my MIL finished her on and off battle with cancer in the wee hours of last Sun. morning, but we do not grieve as those without hope. We know where she is and that we'll see her again. We have a large community of old order Mennonites and a large group of mom's "neighbors" who had first sung hymns outside her bedroom window when she could no longer have visitors, also sang at her memorial. Many of them work at the tractor dealership beside our farm and many others come over to do business who also attended the memorial so I will use this card as a community thanks to post on the board in the "shop". Mom enjoyed the company and friendship of many families over the 45 yrs they have been in the community.

Adorable card. My sympathies to your family on your loss, although it doesn't sound like so much a loss as a wonderful life, well led. Your MIL is at peace.

What beautiful work you have done with this fun image.
Thanks for the moving description of your beloved mother-in-law's friendships!! I can actually hear the hymns! What a blessing to know how dearly she was loved.

OMygosh, how adorable is this! How come just when I think I've seen all the House Mouse stamps there are, another one comes along?
Love the image & you colored it beautifully!
