Did you ever have a day where you took 2 steps forward and 1 backwards?
That was my day yesterday....so I am a day behind in a challenge that I wanted to play.
My card did not turn out anything like I had originally planned.
I ended up using the Spring Solitude Set and Forever Flowers Wheel ..I love those wheels....to put together this simple but fun card. The main ink color here is another favorite of mine Purely Pomegranate.
I had not used my ticket punch yet so thought I would add a little flair with it...colored in the flowers with Summer Sun, Apricot Appeal and Old Olive
Added a touch of faux stitching and here is my card!
Hope you like it!
OOPS! I almost forgot ...the background on the main images are ...yup you guessed it ...alcohol inks! I actually applied them over a picture I printed from my pc where the colors didn't turn out..I never throw anything away! If you look real close you can see the faint hint of the water from the original picture I used for the alcohol inks.
Thanks for Looking!
...and remember... The way to the future is looking ahead not behind!

Too cool!! I loved reading your story. Funny how cards don't turn out how you like. But rest assured, your card is wonderful!! Love the individually stamped alcohol ink squares!
