Made for a tag swap I am in. Thoroughly in love with the idea I can make a tag/card/atc, mail it, wait, receive little works of heart from half-way accross the country and never really know the artist. Is she tall? Is she happy? Is she like me? AHah! We must be like each other--we love creating!
So, about this tag inspired by Tim Holtz..I painted the base coat with brown acrylic paint, dried, painted crackle medium, dried. Painted with ivory acrylic paint. Watched the cracking magic. Don't have any of Tim's crackle paint but am saving my pennies.....one day!
Stamped with cats, bats and spooky stuff! from the $ bin @ M's or J's I think. Then whipped out my soon to retire Batty jumbo wheel for the midsection. Coolest wheel in town.
Giga/mega/whateva punched the circle out of krafty type cardstock, sponged the edges in orange and black. Two black brads and distressing the edges finished off the embossed kitty. I was thinking cat in the moon thoughts.
My tags all have a different sticker re: Halloween on them by Heidi Grace. Martha's ribbon on the top with Trick or Treat and Happy Halloween.
Spooky stuff! Love Halloween!
