I love these birds from Inkadinkado! Stamped them with versamark and black, embossed with clear ep and watercolored with various markers and the aquapainter. The DP is by My Mind's Eye and the corners are the backside of the plaid. As I've previously mentioned, I'm away from home for 2 mths., so I brought white grosgrain ribbon, thinking I could dye it any color I needed! Well, I should have practiced before leaving, as I'm not real happy with the end result, and I now have red fingers from running the ribbon over the ink pad. I did use a plastic bag (gloves?) and dried it with the heat gun--if any of you have a better way, I'm open to suggestions! I don't have reinkers with me.

I did the colored ribbon in a SU class recently. We used chalk on the ribbon which is nice because you can really rub it in if you want a dark saturated color. Then use spray clear finish (like Krylon Low Odor Clear Finish) or I believe SU has a product but I don't have a catalog handy. That sets the color and makes it really easy to tie it into ribbons that keep their shape. Hope this helps!

This is terrific. I love the ribbon. I too have used markers to color it and used the ink pads. The chalks also work. I really like your layout. That stamp is awesome. Love those inky stamps. TFS
