I challenged myself to make these cards from my scrap file; I decided I had "too much" red cardstock in my file, so I fished out some pieces and decided to stamp some white CS scraps to match. Loved experimenting with achieving different looks by changing the density of the stamped flowers on the background paper. With the denser flowers on the right card, I had to make the background pattern recede a little by stamping those three solid flowers centred above the Snoopy; otherwise it just overwhelmed the whole card.
I have the darndest time getting the southwest corner punch to work; the red rhinestone flowers function to cover up the corners I punched out completely crooked. With the sentiments, I tried out "shadow stamping" by stamping a second geneeration impression slightly offset from the first impression of the sentiment. The main result that I can see is it makes the text kind of hard to read; don't think I'll be trying that effect this way again.
So I just made these cards to relax and enjoy myself, but after I excitedly showed them to DH, he looked all stressed and said, "So, what is your plan for these cards?" I was all like, "There's no PLAN; it was all about having fun and stamping." Definitely not the response I was hoping for. :P Turns out he was concerned about cards for Fathers' Day, so I donated these to that cause.
Cards are 4.25x5.5 inches.
Thanks for looking!! (And reading, if you made it this far!)
