This is for today's FEATURED STAMPER - Lost in the 60's aka Denise. I enjoyed browsing Diane's gallery and finally decided on CASEing her NATURAL BEAUTY - JOY. I changed the colors to match this weeks COLOR CHALLENGE - krafty skies, I changed the layout to match this weeks SKETCH CHALLENGE. I also used a different corner punch and only punched the top corners. The bird and butterfly were stamped in Brilliance Graphite Black then colored with prismacolor pencils and blended w/gamsol then cut out. The butterfly center is glued and both wings have dimensionals under them to make them pop. The bird is busting out of the sentiment block and the punched through paper is popping him up. Stickles applied to the bird and butterfly. I also used a different ribbon and ran it across the 2 top panels to cover the overlap.

When I first looked at this, I thought to myself- poor bird ripped in half. Then I read your info and then saw it from the real perspective. Great idea of the bird bursting through the word block! Just haven't seen that one before. Phew! Relief... I love this nature set. So pretty!
