I went shopping in my mom's stamp cupboards yesterday while hubby was fixing her computer. Hee hee! I saw this beautiful snowy image (Stamp Oasis) and I knew I had to take this home and play with it. I inked this up with Night of Navy craft ink and poured Irridescent Ice embossing powder (Stampin Up!) on top. A quick touch of the heat gun, and wow! This is just gorgeous. I don't think Mom is getting this stamp back. Hehehehehe!
I used A Merry Little Christmas (from www.cornishheritagefarms.com) for the sentiment at the bottom. I stamped it with Gold Encore ink, covered it with Gold Glory embossing powder (Stampin Up!) and hit it with the heat gun.
As I was tying the ribbon on, I looked at the heat gun. Why not? I hit the ends of the ribbon with the heat gun as well. That's how I got those curly ends.
Have you started on your Christmas cards yet? I think I'll make some more of these and have them ready when December comes around. :-)

Love the card! It's just awesome.I wonder if they still make that stamp? Also, I compliment you on the information you included. So many people aren't adding comments to their pictures anymore or they have a Visit my Blog for more info. What a breath of fresh air it was to have it all with the picture. Good luck with all the cards. Wish I could make mine, but not this year! Maybe next year.

I'll have to ask Mom, but I'm pretty sure she bought this from rubbernecker.com. I was looking it up, and they have this Snowy Night stamp on sale today for $4.95 - go check it out:
