This is my example for the Portholes challenge for VSBN. I am so excited to be kicking it off! This challenge is to create "portholes" either highlighting something on your page or creating a window from one page to the next. See full write up HERE for instructions. The base is misc. designer paper. The sparkly strips were created by using the CM wavy trimmer and then running the cut pieces through my xyron to make the top sticky then I poured MS glitter over them - WORKS GREAT! I then ran them through the xyron again to attach to the page. The chipboard portholes on the right bage were created by distressing the chipboard by sponging cream carmel ink and close to cocoa then stampin the words explore, discover and journey in choc chip using PTI's simple alphabet. I then rounded the bottom two corners and punched out 3 circles (rule of 3 and all). I typed the journaling which is about how much I loved snorkeling as this was my first time and all on white cardstock using the RBG codes off splitcoast. All these pictures were taken using a disposable underwater camera so I was ok with how they turned out! TFL and thanks for playing!
