This is a new technique to me. It was in a magazine I bought last month, and looking at I just couldn't understand how it worked. Even trying, it still took a while to work it out, not helped by the fact that the photos and text didn't match, LOL. And I do dress-making, I'm not bad at working out how things go...
Anyway, once I'd worked it out, I'll remember next time.
So, I covered a card blank with some Three Bugs in a Rug paper I got recently and wanted to use. That gave me my colour scheme, so I used green Bazzill for the stack, and the reverse side of the paper gave me the blue squares. I used Hero Arts Garden Windows set, just stamping the inside 3 in brown Staz-on onto the blue squares. For the outside square I stamped it on white and coloured it in with Twinkling H2Os. I used a few butterfly rub-ons from the Sale-a-Bration set just to add a bit of interest to the front, I guess you could put a sentiment there too if you wanted.
I was going to use one of my hoarded BG magnetic snaps to close it, but then I remembered that for the Flap Card in TLC161, I'd seen people using photo-turns to close theirs. Well, I may be hoarding my magnetic snaps but one thing I am NOT short of is photo turns, so I carefully took off the half magnet I'd already attached, and used some WRMK hardware instead.
