I just acquired this set, its one I have been wanting for a long time, and this was the first card I made from it. I am very happy with how it turned out. I stamped the corners in chocolate chip, then colored the images with chalks. I then stamped over the whole thing with the Weathered stamp in Versamark, then lightly went over that with chalks on a cotton ball, being careful to not get too much on there. I wanted it to be subtle. Then I rubbed over the whole thing again with the clean side of the cotton ball to just blend and soften everything just a little. Around the edge of the panel, I inked a very light brown with a chalk ink, because it gives a very subtle effect and kind of sinks in to the paper and really gives it that aged edge effect. Lastly, I added the thanks so much stamp from Sincere Salutations. I love the way the words and the floral stamp really go together. I did the same technique for the coordinating envelope. This card is a 6 1/4 x 3 1/4 size.
