2nd try...getting a little more comfortable with this technique, but it takes a long time to complete one background with all of the drying time needed

This card was made using the Drunken chalk technique that Beate was so kind as to write us a tutorial for. You can find the instructions in the Resources section of this awesome site!!!
By the way, the burryness was due to this card being in a cellophane envelope to protect it. I have rescanned it (without the envelope) and it should be visable shortly...

Oh my this is stunning. I've been podering trying the drunken chalks but seemed pretty time consuming. Your series of cards sealed the deal. I'll be doing this tonight after my sweeties are tucked in bed. I reaaly like how your metallic embossing and your drunken chalk compliment each other.

Wow, of all the drunken chalk cards I've seen, this is the most gorgeous one! I love the colors. I'll have to try that technique soon!
