I didn't sleep well last night, so about 3:30 a.m. I figured I'd get up and try to do something productive. I came online and browsed the SCS gallery, checking out the recent challenges. The Ways to Use It challenge #171 to use rick rack caught my eye. I decided to use it along with Sketch Challenge #181, turned sideways. Laurakj's color combo site (http://www.scraptitude.com/colorcombo) helped me choose the color scheme based on the embellishments I had.
Believe me, making the little petal loops and nearly gluing my fingers together at 4:15 a.m. wasn't nearly as fun as it may look. Tombow Mono Multi *really* sticks! But I'm pleased with how the card ended up.
It might be difficult to see in the photo, but the So Saffron panel is stamped in So Saffron with the little loopy flower from the Short & Sweet set. The sentiment is one of my favorites from Hero Arts.
Thanks for looking!

I absolutely love this card! I would never have thought to make the flower out of rick-rack. I just love that there are creative people out there to give me ideas!!!!!!!!!
