This is for Joan Irvin's Dare to our Double Dog Dare weekly challenge gang to do a summery, flowery, birdy card...I can't believe I didn't put a bird on this card!! But Jooooooannnn!!! I just got this new butterfly and punch set, and the cool new Carnation Bouque set (Inque Boutique), and a new fab ribbon slider from the convention last weekend and since I've been on vacation since then I couldn't play with all my new toys so today I had to play and and I didn't get a bird so I didn't put one on there so don't be mad!! I'll stamp a bird on the next card, kay-oh??? I promise!! Oh!! And, and, I used my brand spankin new Twinklin H2Os on this that I got at convention...can you see the flowers and butterfly shimmer???! Sorry for the bad pic, out of practice!
Thanks for the fun Dare Joan, Oh so much fun!!! Hope you like it!!

Anne, you are too funny! All the begging and whining seemed to pay off with Joan, but I dunno know......in another group I'm in we have what we call The Buzzer for noncompliance with challenges! HA! HA! HA!! Just razzing you, my friend. This is beautiful! I love that gorgeous butterfly and the slider, and I can see why you'd be so excited to play with your new toys. We're just big kids, aren't we?

I love this! Love the way you colored the flowers, and these flowers certainly are not for the dogs! Love the butterfly too, so, as far as I am concerned, no birds are needed! Besides, butterflies are a lot like birds! Love the beautiful slider too!

you crazy kid! so, I'm not confused (nothing new, right?) is that butterfly a stamp or a punch.. it really doesn't matter cause it is super-d-duper cool! your punishment for not using a bird is to stamp a card one-handed - hahahahahaha!
Love this.. and you went to convention without me.. you gotta show us what you made!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh my!! This is SO beautiful!! I love the dreamy softness of it, it is like an Impressionist's painting. Love the embellishment in the center and the butterfly.
