I found this color challenge to be really challenging. I wanted to make a congratulations card but struggled to find a way to make to make the colors seem spiffy enough for that type of card. I ended up using my canvas background stamp with Versamark and clear embossing powders to create a shiny textured background with the black. It doesn't show up in the picture very well but it glistens in the light and really dresses up the card. I then used the same background with Versamark on the kraft paper to tie everything together. I really love how these challenges force us to step out of our comfort zone.

This is really lovely. I like your use of the Canvas background stamp. Great idea with the Versamark and clear EP. And I especially like how you just left the tree alone. Simple, but elegant.

Very nicely done card. I love the clean look to it. These colors work well.
