Who remembers packing up the trailer and hitting the open road for the Summer Camping trip?
I sure do!
Darlene, over at the CRAFTY SECRETS challenge: Forums at Splitcoaststampers
gave us the challenge to create a card with Summertime in Mind.
I cut out the car illustration from the Crafty Secrets " Seasonal Booklet" .
The trees are from " As Lovely as a Tree" and stamped with Handsome Hunter on Wasabi, cut and sponged with ink.
The mustard "Post Card" sentiment border is from Crafty Secrets " Journey" set as well as the " Enjoy the Journey "
All of the above pieces were mounted on a very old postcard showing a road passing through the hills...it was just perfect for my Road Trip Family.
Hope you like it!

Boy does this take me back, my mother and father-in-law had a little trailer just like this. She fixed it all up inside and out - they loved to camp and took it with them everywhere. I had forgotten this until your card. It's great - makes you want to be on that road among those trees with them. Dru

Perfect fit with the car image and the road on the old postcard Pammyjo - awesome! Love the way you've combined all the elements here, the cut out trees and the 'postcard' stamped border somehow give it a sort of naivety that's perfect for the nostalgia kick, too!
