I found these great acetate card blanks this weekend and I remembered seeing a technique in resources for this style of card and I just had to get them.
This card is in honour of the mice that lived at the bottom of the garden and have been ousted by a new fence and the turbo snails that have completely demolished my hostas LOL!!!!
I stamped the mouse prints in cotton white stayzon on the acetate (crikey, not easy by any means as the stamp wants to slide and it's a tiny stamp)!
I cut 2 pieces of white card stock in the oblong nesties and embossed them, did the same with two pieces of 'two scoops' dp for the backing. Stamped and water coloured the image with distress inks and attached it to the front of the card placed patterned cut out on the inside front directly behind the image piece. Did the same on the back for the other two pieces. Tied a ribbon and that was it. TFL
