I started thinking about my retiring colleague and mentor, and the ABCs just kicked in at that point. Some of the words will only make sense to her and those of us in the field of literacy education, and in her own specific life...but, hey...that's what a card should really be about, right? Have true meaning for the recipient.
Anyway, the text is computer generated. It was printed on Neenah Solar White paper. I then used a Stamp-A-Ma-Jig to stamp a partially inked with Marvy Dye black square image from Simply Stamped.
I colored these boxes with Copic markers.
Colored cardstock, patterned paper and ribbon were also used.
Thanks for a great challenge. The Acacia website had a lot of great ideas.

I was reading the words and got a real kick out of ZPD! There's a term I was not familiar with until this past year! This is too cute and I'm sure it will be much appreciated and treasured!
