I made this for LSC 172, Get knotty.
I've been trying to work out this particular Mizuhiki knot for the best part of two years, and last night I cracked it when I realised it was really the same as the Good Luck knot with the ends threaded back into the centre to make two more petals. I can't link to it as it's a PDF file, but if you Google Mizuhiki + Abalone Knot, you'll find it.
Pretty minimal layers and the only other embellishments are little pearls in the punched flowers at the corners of the first layer, and Liquid Pearls in the corner. They're really there because originally the knot was mounted on a pearlescent ivory flower, and they helped to tie it in, but this morning I changed it.

WOW! How very lovely!
A circle has no beginning and no end...that is what I think of when I see your card... I began my Dad's Eulogy with that phrase and your card made me think of him and all the that he met to me...
Thank You so much for sharing such a beautiful card!
