Here's my combo for today's knotty challenge and yesterday's photo challenge. It's kind of ironic we had to use a photo since I used photos in two challenges last week. Oh well.
After Wed's complicated piece of work, I stayed simple today and just let the photo do the talking. It looks unfinished to me, but I just got stuck and finally called it quits.
The photo is one I took a couple of weeks ago. It's kind of simple, just some azalea blooms that fell onto a wooden bench, but I liked it. I stamped a little swirly thing around the edges and attached it to a white mat. I punched a couple of small holes in the upper left corner and tied a couple of pieces of twistel twine (it's just tightly wrapped paper) into a knot. I untwisted two of the ends.
The grayish textured c/s was bugged w/ the distressed lines folder and soft wheat ink rubbed over it. Not real noticeable but it just adds a little depth. Then another white mat and onto a sage speckled card. TFL

You said that the CB'd piece was not too noticeable, but after the pretty flowers, it was the first thing I noticed. I was trying to figure out if it was crimped or pleated or what. Now I know. Very pretty card.
