I started this last night, and while using the Fiskars ShapeCutter to cut out the heart apertures, I re-opened a cut from earlier in the day and bled on my lovely green paper I had chosen for the card. I didn't have any more, so I waited till this afternoon and started again, having chosen some different paper last night. My starting point was the 2 K&Co K-ology monograms, and I knew I wanted to do some iris-folding as I haven't done it in an aged. So I chose some pearlsescent crinkle papers which are great as they are not too bulky and have a lovely sheen. I covered a square of card with textured ivory paper and cut out the hearts using Fiskars ShapeCutter. I filled in the hearts, and used little scraps of vellum printed with hearts for the centre. After I mounted this panel onto the card, I outlined the hearts with Pastel Pink Liquid Pearls and stuck on the monograms. Like the other card I made today, quick and simple because my thumb is sore.
