Here's another card I made using the fabulous BasicGrey Two Scoops designer paper from my friend Kim (andeki). Thanks again, Kim!
I've always wondered how to stamp over a border and get the image to match up. Probably all of you already know this, but I'm going to share my eureka moment anyway. First, I stamped the tower onto the plain designer paper, then cut out the main image. In addition, I cut out the background designer paper. Next I laid the main image straight onto the background paper (no Choc Chip mat in between), held down the edges of the main image in the exact location I wished it to be when completed, and stamped whichever stamp I was using onto both pieces of designer paper. When that stamping was done, I removed the main image and matted it and then repositioned it to match up with the other half of the stamps. Like I say, this is probably something most of you already know, but it was a revelation to me when I figured it out.
I love this stamp set! It makes me want to be in Paris!
