I have been itching to do the Emboss Resist technique. I also wanted to make another sample card using SU's preview set, Fresh Cuts. Then I was thinking spring (the sun finally came out again today). My creation even fit with notimetostamps blog challenge.... Silhouette stamps. Sounds like a perfect stamping opportunity, don't you think?
I stamped the main image with Versamark ink onto glossy white CS and EB with clear EB powder. I then brayered with Bashful Blue (masked), brayered with Brocade Blue (masked), brayered with A Amythyst (masked) and brayered with Pretty in Pink. I wiped off the ink on the EB areas...then the fun began. I started coloring with my markers the raised flowers, leaves and swirls on the image...let it dry and then added more ink until I was happy with the image. An image that took a minute here and a minute there all day as each layer dried. An opportunity to garden in between :-)
My final card is 4"x4" and fits perfectly inside the Fresh Cut envelopes which I stamped. A pretty little card with lots of spring textures :-) Enjoy, Nancy
