My friend Jessi, the owner of the German stamp shop Stempelbar in Berlin, celebrated her birthday last weekend. Her birthday present was everything you need for a motor-cycle driver's license - she got some driving lessons from all her friends and relatives. From me she got one highway driving lesson, one night driving lesson, and the visual acuity test you need to get the driver's license.
So I created a 3-pages-card: I stamped a little bear on a motor-scooter (the bear is from Jessi's own stamp line) on the last page, then on two other pages at exactly the same position. Then I cut out the bears from the upper two pages, so that the bear from the last page showed through the other pages. On this second page I stamped the bear polishing the star, colored it with markers, then masked it. Next I used some liquid frisket to create the white little stars on the dark night sky, then brayered and sponged the sky, the grass and the street, masking as needed. Again I gave the street some definition with a marker. At last I removed the liquid frisket.
