My niece just turned 4 on the 4th. I don't know how many of you know but that is considered her golden birthday. (Born on the 3rd and turn 3 golden, born on the 13th and turn 13 golden, born on the 26th and turn 26 golden, get it). My niece is a typical girl, I think (seeing as I don't have any). She seems older than her 4 years and much wiser. I didn't know what to do and she is starting preschool this fall so I figured I would get her some goodies to practice with this summer and maybe use in preschool. This is what I cam up with. The tutorial for the pencil older is on "Just give me stamps...",

and the pinwheel I believe is from Dawn's blog "Dawn's stamping thoughts"

I turned 30 on the 30th ( a couple of years ago) and we had a Golden Birthday. I actually had never heard about it until that year. They also call it a Champagne Birthday so we had, of course, a lot of champagne!
