This is for a challenge that I do with a few of my SCS friends!
The challenge was suggested by Anne (jdmommy)!
This is the challenge: Old MacDonald had a farm
E-I-E-I-O
And on this farm he had a ---
Well on this farm he had a Chicken E-I-E-I-O with a Cluck Cluck her and a Cluck Cluck there --- Well you get the message!
The cute hen was colored using copics! The chicken coop was colored using Tim Holts distress inks and blender pen. The clouds are made by using a punched out scallop templete Cindy's (Mothermarks) tech. This is another treat box for our family reunion. Tutorial can be found on Faith's (Markiesmom) blog. My measurements are larger.
A few days ago Foghorn (rooster) brought the ladies of the Hen house dinner, only to discover they had all flown the coop! Well Henny (short for Henrietta) just could'nt stay away. She has a thing for Foggy. She knows he will return because she is his favorite lady. He favors blondes and she being a natural blonde (or so he thinks - but only her feather dresser knows for sure). Stay tuned for the continuing saga!
I will be in Florida and South Carolina searching for Foggy for the next two weeks.
Thanks, Anne, for the fun challenge!

That is one stylish chick!! I love the way you colored her and the adorable scene you've created. The bird seed is my absolute favorite part!! You are so clever and creative and this really made me smile!

Ok, guys, we have a show off here....you not only made a super fantabulous card, Fran, but you wrote a story, too!!! Oh, man...how can we ever live up to your high standards!!! I'll have to go get my Diet Coke and M and M's and ponder the situation but in the meantime...I'll just drool over your wonderful coloring, images, and the seed corn...what a hoot!!!

What a fabulous card/box! Fran, this is wonderful...from the henhouse to the chick in her nest to the spilled seed! I can't wait for you to get back and finish the story (and I wonder how Foghorn can resist a spiffy gal like Henny!!) Great job on the challenge!!!
