My favorite poem is Fog by Carl Sandburg and it inspired this card. I used clipart for the feet and printed them using my laser printer. The vellum is supposed to simulate fog. The peom is quite short so here it is:
The Fog comes
on little cat feet.
It sits looking
over harbor and city
on silent haunches
and then moves on.

I love this poem too! I use it every year in my classroom as an example of a metaphor. Great card! I love the way you used the vellum to replicate the fog.

The vellum is a great touch--mimics the fog perfectly. How do you all come up with these great ideas? Anyone who saw this card and didn't know the challenge would know immediately what it depicts. Well done!

I love The Fog. I remember having to memorize it in English class . . . so many years ago! Carl Sandburg wrote some great poems! The vellum gives a good feeling for the fog. Nice interpretation of the poem.
