The challenge today was to combine 3 past challenges - color, sketch and technique. I choose the shabby chic technique. The color combo is mauve, plum, artichoke and sahara sand. Sketch 71 is a double layer of torn paper at opposite corners. You can't see it very well in the pic - I cut out and popped up 3 fllowers and the large leaf in the front. I distressed my paper by stamping several layers of BG's then tearing it and then misting it with water - rolling it around in the ink pad and roughing it up a bit. It's very flexable when it's damp and it dries right out pretty quickly. I did a lot of sponging too.

Wow! This is gorgeous! I love shabby chic and these colors lend themselves so well to that look... as does this sketch! Awesome in every way! I didn't get to play today because I had company, but maybe tomorrow I can. Really love what you did and it is inspiring me to go look through the first 10 challenges of the 3 we were to use and try to get one done! TFS!
