Thanks Beth, once again for a very creative Monday challenge...it was fun to go way back there and find one in each of the three categories. Well, FUN until I realized I had misread TLC10 and did TLC11! So can I PLEASE have 2/3 credit? I promise I'll read between the lines next time!!! SC04 and CC09 complete my trio.
For those of you who saw my FS68 honoring peanutbee yesterday, you know about my lack of a clean room! Well, after hitting all the local sales this morning in honor of Memorial Day...I decided my studio needed an overhaul...so I cleaned and rearranged and repurposed the space before I would allow myself the technique challenge! Girlz, it FEELS great to have clean counters. And a card to post.
One of my finds today at 50% off was this very vintage set of clear stamps from Prima Marketing (all about Parisian life). I had to ink the Eiffel tower on sage shadow with VersaColor black and embossed with clear and midas platinum. I love the perspective of this image. I used the sentiment from the set and stamped in black and embossed in clear. It is on ruby red paper. My brocade mat is from MME 29th Street Market Bright "Together" united floral/Cool-ective blue paper. I matted the sentiment on the back side of the DP. Both are heavily distressed ( this was the TLC11 part Shabby Chic). I added a mustard metal photo turn and a piece of handdyed silk ribbon. I did alter the SC04 by moving my horizontal panel up alot...I just had to reveal those gorgeous arches!
Thanks for looking and I hope you all have had a HAPPY Day.

Great job Susan! Way to go on getting your space cleaned up! I know it feels wonderful to have it tidied up! (Mine got tidied up for my company, LOL, but now I'm too beat to try this triple header so I guess I wont mess it up until tomorrow)... anyway, you have created another wonder here! I love your shabby chic... you are the queen of that technique! Your 50% sale today was a GREAT find! Love the sentiment with that gorgeous eiffel tower! How perfect! Love the brocade and the distressing... and I think you did the right thing to move up the horizontal panel... we needed to see those gorgeous arches! Great card Susan!
