This is my card for last weeks WT167 challenge. The main image is stamped on glossy card stock, that was brayed with blue classic ink and pumpkin patch spectrum ink pad, then sprayed lightly with water, salt sprinkled on top, left to dry and then salt was brushed off.
Thanks to Gail for showing me this technique. I stamped the main image after glossy paper was prepared. The fish from Angler stamp set was embossed and then versa mark ink applied then pearlex dabbed on to give a shimmery look. This will be a card for my DH on father's day. tfl

Thank you so much for your detailed description of how to do the sky! I can't wait to try it.. Everything you did in this card was very clever and so nicely composed. What a great trick to have the eyelet in the middle of the card. The colors are just perfect. Thanks again!

Incredible, just an amazing card. Wonderful detail. I've never tried the salt technique, but will after seeing your card. So clever with the line and the fish. TFS

Love your card!! Hate to make "men" cards, but this one is a beauty! The salt technique sparks my imagination, hope it is as easy as you make it sound. Does Gail have a link where I can read about the technique in detail?
