Michelle Zindorf came to my house to play yesterday..... last month when I posted that I went to her house to play, 1000 people asked her to play with them....so take it easy on her this week! haha. We laughed so hard and had so much fun and made the card like hers with the single butterfly, it's not exactly like her card, just the middle design. She is so talented, and we had so much fun....we laughed and laughed, and now I feel grateful to SCS for new friends, just like I always have to SU. Anyway - none of these cards were done with the brayer, they are all emboss resist done with sponges. After she left at like 7:00 or so, I stayed up till after 2:00 in the morning and made tons more cuz it's so much fun. We worked on scenery cards while she was here and I still need a little more work. We tried that awesome card she just made last week with the mountains, but when mine was done we decided it looked like it needed a bra, so I'm not postin it. Michelle gave me hers that she made(a ZINDORF ORIGINAL....FOR FREE) .....na - na - na -na -na.......she's my friend - na -na -na - na na--------okay, I really DID stay up too late last night.......for the 3rd night in a row.........sorry......

Your new *friend* has taught you well.....this is beautiful! I love the colors and the way you sponged it. Glad you are having so much fun with Michelle and the things she has taught you. Better rest up, so you can make more wonderful cards to share with all of us. TFS this one. :0)

You did terrific because I thought it was a Zindorf card! I love all her stuff and am jealous that you have a hands-on direct opportunity to learn from her! Thanks for sharing your wonderful creation!

STUNNING CARD!!!! What a great job!
One question: Are you using plain white CS or glossy??? Just curious. I have tried a few of her tutorials and by the time I'm done with all the colors, the paper is saturated...
Thanks for any advice.....and thanks for sharing your creation. Keep up the great work!

Plain whisper white cardstock. She hates glossy cardstock...I don't but she does. I love to watercolor on glossy with markers.....but for this technique it's plain old whisper white.
This is GORGEOUS! You're a good student! One more question - what kind of sponge are you using? I've tried to use the yellow SU sponge, but I always get the "holey" look.
