I just don't think I'm quite on my game tonight. Here's my first card for the inspiration challenge; it's indebted to two cards I saw earlier this week for the sketch challenge:
I love the chocolate and red together on bdrew's card but I'm still on my insane mission to do *all* of the color and sketch challenges (17 color and 14 sketch challenges to go). It's getting a little harder to find color challenges that I can use for the inspiration challenges since my choices are more limited :p
Anyway, the flower is stamped with craft Chocolate Chip and embossed with clear EP, watercolored, and then I stamped the "blossom" definition over it with classic Choco Chip ink. Last I sponged on some Bashful Blue since I needed that for the color challenge :p I dug up some old Baroque Backgrounds DSP to use on this. At first I had a Chocolate Chip mat on the flower panel, but then I switched it out for Old Olive and I'm not sure that was the best decision.
I really did think all the inspiration pictures were beautiful, I just can't seem to make them jive on cards tonight!
