Not too many cards about this subject matter. A co-worker asked me to make a 'period card' when her daughter got her first period. I wasn't sure about the sentiment... congrats? sorry?

Oh my goodness....that's the first time I ever heard of someone congratulating someone on this topic!!! Or, is it congratulating??? You're right, that's a tough one! haha

Well she requested...you fulfilled...I think this will serve it's purpose rather well!!!! It's a natural fact of life, a milestone in fact, and why shouldn't there be a card for it?!?!?...lol

I think you did a wonderful job fulfilling her request. And what a great attitude that mom has. Celebrating a period is a positive way to look at things. Kudos!

Love it ---- balancing it along with other activities of life.
Also, on the other vein --- make one of those with a large "NO" symbol on top (sort of like the NO smoking or NO parking symbol) as a congrats for a hysterectomy.
I'm so glad to be FREE of periods.
How about "Have a Happy Period." That's the Always Maxipad slogan. Then, your coworker could gift-wrap a package of Always maxis and present this card right along with it. Bwahahahahaha!
