This is for a weekly challenge a few of us do. This week Deborah choose to send thank you cards to her grandfather that served in WW2. Its a great way to show appreciation other than once or twice a year. If you would like to send a card PM me and I can get you the address to send one also.
This Army set is so cool but I hardly ever use it. I am glad we were required to use a military theme. Not too sure about the colors. Rose red, NQN and WW. I have not NQN but ink, so I sponged a lot. lol I like how this turned out.... yet its missing something. maybe I should of done the sentiment seperate. I don't know. I hope GPA likes it Deb.
Thanks for looking.

Great card Stacy. I love the *tags* background and the ribbon behind the panel. Aw Ha! You thought I couldn't see that, didn't ya? Grandpa will very much appreciate this card!

Stacy, what a great challenge and a fabulous card. That set is so wonderful, especially for a veteran! How great you have it just waiting for the perfect occasion. This challenge is sure that occasion! Fabulous card; done to perfection!

I commented on this card last night... a big long one I might add... and it was right when I was having trouble seeing many people's galleries... and now I see my comment didn't come through! Major bummer! Anyway, I think this is just wonderful! How special to send a thankyou to a veteran! Very special! Makes me quick want to make one for my FIL who also served in WW2... lost most of his arm from the elbow down... went through a lot. Was awarded the purple heart for saving other troops, but as family we all need to thank him more! Thanks for this challenge to me personally!
