I made this card for my brother-in-law and sister-in-law's anniversary. I really love this card and I know this might seem mean but I hate to send such lovely creations to people I know don't appreciate them. This is the 3rd card this month I have sent to them and I know they get them and they go right in the trash- anywho May is over soon and they have no more holidays comming up-LOL! I know that sounds horrible. Anyway I borrowed this set from Jodi (Kharmagirl) and I had so much fun with it. On the white layers I stamped the branch in Certainly Celery, the Rose layer has "happiness" in the same color to give it texture. I clear embossed the heart and added white dots around the layers a la' Markies Mom. TFL!!

It's gorgeous!! I sympathize with the fact that you go the time to create a beautiful homemade card.. only to have someone quickly trash it!! I'm quite lucky... my family - even my sibs and inlaws and such - seem to treasure mine!! My mom even framed one!! :) But I know what you mean.. I'm sure a few people I send to trashem too - esp at Christmas!!

Oh Dinsie....this is gorgeous! They are so not deserving of this beautiful creation (see, we both can be mean!!). I LOVE this color combination, all the black matting, the white dots, the embossed heart and the *happiness* in the background. This is simply a delight through and through!! LOVE it! TFS!!
