Hi! This card was made for today's Sketch Challenge.
Helen the Hoot Owl was complaining that she hasn't gotten to see ink in a while, so I dragged her out for today's card. (And, since it's MY birthday, and I LOVE this Momma Owl, and THESE colors, I figured I'd use them today....)
I have not wanted to use Helen the Hoot Owl recently because she had made a nasty comment about cats tasting just like chicken! No worries, though...Speedy the Cat and Spittie Kittie are currently hiding under my stamping table!LOL!
Helen the Hoot Owl was stamped twice. Each image was colored with SU! markers. I cut out both images and layered various parts for dimension.
I added Signo Pen and marker dots to the card. The two panels were run through the Cuttlebug in the Swiss Dots embossing folder. I then passed a Classic ink pad (tone on tone) over the embossed areas to give a bit of definition to the dots.
I sponged the panels with Classic Inks.
The ribbons are SU! and from the Offray Outlet in Hagerstown, MD!
