Just playing around again, trying new things and ideas. Had this stamp with little ants and tiny umbrellas. One thing led to another and here's what happened.
Cut an oval in half, shaded it with cloudy blue to make it look like an umbrella. (this is the new idea) Wasn't happy with the results, so I chalked some yellow and red on it. Still not happy, so I added doodle lines and distress ink. Sprayed it with shimmer mist (new things) and decided I was done with it. Popped this up on top of the other half oval, which I then popped up over the raindrops.
On a piece of white card stock, I dry embossed the rain drops with a fiskar texture plate. Brayered and sponged cloudy blue, sail boat blue, and denim on it. I was going for a stormy look. Sponged a few tiny rain drops under the umbrella using a homemade stencil. (new thing & idea)
Stamped the little ants with their umbrellas on the bottom and clear heat ep them. I added diamond glaze to one side of the raindrops for effect. What kind of effect you may ask, not sure, but did it anyway. Stamped a second set of the tiny umbrellas. Colored them with re-inkers and added diamond glaze to them Cut them out and popped them up. Drew the large umbrella handle with copic pen, versa marked it and then clear heat ep it.
Put this all on top of a yellow/white checkered dp. Doodled the lines around and sponged distress ink on the edge. Put this on a red card.
Kind of a crazy card, but I had fun making it. It's like a scene in a scene. Know what I mean?........TFL :0)
