This was created for the No Time to Stamp "Stamp Simply Challenge" #34: In Stitches. Blogs at Splitcoaststampers
Base Blush Blossom card is a long card, 4 x 8 dimensions taken from LSC164 "Long Tall Sally". I stamped it in River Rock with the Canvas bg. I faux cross-stitched around the edge. The three panels, sponged with River Rock to soften the colors, have the zig-zag stitch and I notice I faux stitch as well as I sew IRL. The dragonfly panel was stamped in Jet Black StazOn and colored with the SU! SS markers. I used white 1/4" Taffeta and an embroidery needle for dragonfly wings to add the shimmer. I colored the rest of the upper body (thorax??? 6th grade bio SO long ago) in Stickles: Waterfall & Yellow. If I'd been able to find my ribbon embroidery stuff I would have done a whole card in fun flowers... for another day! Thanks for looking!
