Hello! I made these two cards very quickly today! They are both made from the same sheet of stock and two other colors of scrap paper (for the scallops and circle centers), one 21 inch piece of ribbon, and one 6 by 6 sheet of dp.
These colors remind me of my Sweet Sixteen...I wore pink cotton pants with pink suspenders!! AAAck! Think Pinky from Happy Days! I had a box lunch social which my mother convinced me would be fun because she did it when she was a teenager! She was right. It was fun! Especially since we rigged it so that the guy I liked would get my lunch! hehe!
Anyone know what I'm talking about?
I think they are colorful and fun! How can you go wrong with Basic Grey dp anyway, right?
Hope you like them!
Deena

Totally fun and cheery cards - love them both... Will keep these in mind when I need something fairly quick - I've got a pretty big stack of dp that would work great for this style of layout...

So fun Deena. Maybe I'm too old to know about the boxed lunch thing. I don't think we ever did it. Maybe it's a Quebec thing?? Love the cheery colors you've been using.
