Well, IÂ’ve pretty much consumed the day and trashed my workroom, but by golly, I finally have a Diorama to post. And a card to give to my actress/director friend who is celebrating her 50th wedding anniversary. Whew! Listing the comprehensive recipe is sort of pointless because absolutely no one is going to want to repeat this excuse to avoid real work.
This tutorial was great; IÂ’ll try it again sometime with something a little less strenuous.

Stamps: Celebrate is Northwoods Rubber, Stage Curtain is Posh Impressions, ornate frame is Stampendous, and if anyone knows who made the drama queens IÂ’d love to know; I bought the stamp used and there are no identifiers on it.
Paper: Ruby Red, Black Linen, Blush Blossom, vellum
Ink: Various SU markers, black Stazon
Accessories: gold embossing powder, black sparkle embossing power, clear embossing powder, really sharp detail scissors, dimensional foam on the ornate frame
Techniques: insanely obsessing over finishing a challenge

I think this is awesome! I am completely impressed and I would be honored to follow you into your next excellent card-making adventure in the diorama realm!! Love the drama queens!! Great job!
Your title just killed me. What a great play on Masterpiece Theatre. YOur card is wonderful and your friend will be thrilled to get it. I can relate to all the different cuttings and layers as I ended up cutting four different colors of 8 1/2" x 3" paper before it was all over. I just couldn't quite get the idea to come together in my head as I was so worried about trying to follow the directions.

I LOVE your creation! I had to chuckle at your description and so completely relate to avoiding work. But I'd say your efforts were well worth it in the card making world - we appreciate it!!
