The flower was embossed, then painted with the aquapainter filled with bleach. I made these as my trade card for the Milwaukee Regionals. The interesting thing is that I used paper from 2 different packages and some flowers came out this yellow color while others came out white! Different dye lots I guess.
I love this gold cord - wish it hadn't retired. My trade cards had a little grosgrain bow on the front instead. The trade cards used the sentiment from Short and Sweet.
Helpful hint: don't wear your favorite sweater when painting with bleach ;(

Very pretty card. I love the bleached flower (esp the color you achieved) and the gold cord is the perfect accent. (I lost a favorite denim shirt doing this technique...feel your pain.)
