Cover a 2,5" green styrofoam ball with solid leaves (mine are old olive)cut from Walk in my garden cricut cartridge using regular sewing pin - placing the pin at the tip of the leaf. Start on what will be the top of the tree working around in circles placing the leaves so they look not too uniform. When covered completely I cut another type of leaves (they have cutouts so you can see the color underneath) I used Garden green and used a gluepen to glue them on. I punched out apple with a old punch I had in real red and colored the stem in choco chip. I just used glue dot to tuck the apple between the leaves. The dowl is a standard size I cut into 4 pieces. The rosepot is from michael and I painted them with craft paint. The old olive was a hard match but Americana "Hauser Light Green" works close enough. For the red I used Delta "Bright Red". The pots need 2-3 coats to cover the red of the terracotta. The dowl is painted once in Folkart "Nutmeg". The ribbon is 5/8" and I found that at A.C. Moore. Inside the pot is a piece of styrofoam and I used brown basketfiller/shredded paper to cover it up.
