Wow, what a wonderful gallery Kim! So many gorgeous cards to choose from. This is the card I chose to case: Simple Style by nutsymuhl at Splitcoaststampers. I've made a few changes. I stayed with a celery card base, deleted the scalloped panel for straight edges and changed the color to Lavendar Lace, I used page pebbles instead of brads, I will add a sentiment when I send the card out. I used a hint of pink in the flower petals to be able to get into notimetostamp's challenge this week. The panel with the focal image is popped up with dimensionals as is the butterfly. The page pebbles were purchased at Ellen Hutson's on line store, the gorgeous May Arts black sheer ribbon was purchased from Flourishes, and the butterfly is from Kitchen Sink Stamps. I used Lyra colored pencils with Gamsol. The image was stamped on white museum board and colored with the pencils. I used a cream pencil to color in the background and used a french gray to go around the image for subtle shading. I masked the image and used SU's French Script background stamp using Marvy's Timeless Sepia (I stamped off first so it wouldn't be too dark and overpower the image). I sponged around the edges with Tim Holtz's Vintage Photo Distress Ink. I am going to work on learning how to provide multiple links within the description for your easy access to the companies. So sorry, I'm a total computer dud!
Wow, oh wow. Your watercoloring is always breathtaking. I love the way you added the touch of pink to the flowers, the masking and shadowing lets the flower image show its beauty. Your work is so beautiful!
