I learned one thing w/ this challenge; when they say CHALLENGE they aren't just whistling Dixie. Had my inspiration piece all picked out last night. This is the page I came across and I really liked it. Pretty In Pink Kaetlyn by CaseyK at Splitcoaststampers
I even had a very similar piece of pink polka dot dp. That's all I had. No black patterned dp anywhere in the neighborhood. So, I cut strips of black and punched holes in them, then attached them to wider white strips. I cut ridiculously thin strips of the the pink dp and attached them down the sides of each strip. The strips are attached to a bugged panel (swiss dots).
I attached the dp across the bottom and punched a strip as a border between the two. The flowers were colored w/ markers and cut out. Some of the petals are popped up slightly.
The flower circle was stamped and cut out. I decided I should have embossed it, so I colored the whole thing in w/ the black glaze pen. Very narrow ribbon was threaded thru the button and tied in a little bow.
I went over the lines of the flowers w/ the glaze pen, too, as well as the three punched circles attached down the left side. This was a lot more work than I bargained for but I hope y'all like it. TFL

Absolutely gorgeous! The black, pink, and white are dynamite together. I'm going to make one, and then I think I'll make another substituting yellow for the pink. All your hard work was worth it. Thanks for sharing it.
