This is one of my older cats, Sophie, enjoying a rest on the porch on one of the recent warm days. I thought about adding some journaling. But really, this isn't about anything in particular except for showcasing how pretty my Sophie is.
I got the Love & Happiness rub-ons for sale-a-bration, but I didn't think I would actually end up using them (they were in my "to sell on ebay" pile). But when I started this page, I knew the green section needed something else. The border design of the rub-on seemed to go well with the patterned paper (Chatterbox).
I printed the letters on the computer (font is Duality) then used that as a template to cut them out of cardstock. I used my slit punch to create the scalloped border, my crimper for the white strip and lots of punches for the flower and leaf embellishment. I also got a lot of use out of my white gel pen.
The largest flower is actually from the Looks Like Spring set. But the stamped part looked odd. So I just used it as a template to cut out the flower then used the back side.
The photograph looks very dark on screen, but is nice and crisp irl.
