I made this card for a friend who is in China, picking up their new daughter Mary Grace. I think the ladybug is the symbol for Chinese adoptions, though this is a non-traditional looking baby card.
I pulled out my ancient and rarely used crimper for the WT164 challenge, and used circle punches for the LSC166 challenge.
The ladybug wings are stamped and cut out, and the black portions are highlighted with a clear glitter pen.
The back panel is partially embossed using the Cuttlebug Swiss Dots folder, leaving room to stamp the sentiment from the Small Sayings set.
Wishing the Knapp family safe travels and many happy memories of their "Gotcha Day", which is tomorrow, when they get to see Mary Grace for the first time!
Thanks for looking!
