here is my card for today's sketch challenge as well as the Double Dare Challenge that I do each week with a group of SCS friends.
The Double Dare challenge from Fran this week was to make a Mother's Day Card with a bird and/or animal on it. I'm going with Fish as animals (!)
This card was made as per the Sketch instructions: a 9 1/4 x 8 card scored at 4 inches and folded in half. I cut off the 3/4 inch piece from the front rather than scoring it and folding it in.
My ovals are cut with my nestabilities and dry embossed. I masked the larger fish before stamping the sea grass over it.
The ribbon is woven behind the dp and through a slit punch on the ovals and tied in a bow. Two clear dew drops grace the top left and bottom right corners for a little balance.
I added a 1 inch strip of DP along the right inside edge of the card so it shows from the front of the card.
